HOPE Inc. and Equity in Housing have
combined to sponsor a scattered site-housing program consisting of thirty-one apartments
in a number of small buildings. Located near the Weslyan University campus, the units consist of rehabilitated homes and apartment buildings that are provided to residents at a fraction of the market rate for the area.
Valley Supportive Housing was
constructed with financing from the
State of Connecticut (Housing
Finance Authority and Department of
Social Services). Equity
financing includes investments by
United Illuminating, and Northeast
BH Care provides the on-site support staff.
